Prenuptial Agreements
Although prenuptial agreements are still not legally binding in England and Wales, recent case law is moving towards this.
The Penman Sedgwick Family Law Team can draw up and tailor such agreements to your needs. These agreements will set out clearly what will happen to the assets on the breakdown of any marriage.
The Courts are increasingly willing to take prenuptial agreements into consideration when deciding how assets will be dealt with on divorce, especially where there are no children, in the case of second marriages, and where the parties have both been legally represented in the drawing up of the prenuptial agreement.
If you need advice on Prenuptial Agreements then please contact us, and we will respond as soon as possible, or call us on 01923 225212.
